Croatia and Bosnia, Wandertrail Multi-sport

This is a multi-activity adventure trip along a few of the cleanest Croatian and Bosnian Rivers.

You will explore the unique nature of Plitvice Lakes National Park, the Mreznica River in Croatia, and the Una River in Bosnia. Our guides will seize every opportunity to steer you away from the busy everyday life ensuring a truly memorable experience on foot, by bike, on a Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP), from a kayak and a raft.

Mreznica River is forty miles long with emerald green water and over 90 waterfalls. Its unspoiled woods and magical landscapes make it one of Croatia’s most desirable continental retreats.

The accommodations are in a small, family-run, 3*** hotel on the bank of the Mreznica River, approximately one-hour drive from the Zagreb and Rijeka airports. The hotel’s restaurant overlooks a historic mill and a small waterfall. The restaurant serves freshly caught fish, grilled specialties, local cuisine and home-grown vegetables. All rooms are equipped with full bathrooms, TV, mini-bar, telephone, air conditioning and internet access.

Paddling, Cycling and Hiking in Croatia & Bosnia

This tour, tailored for active adults, starts from Dubrovnik and continues north towards Split and Zagreb. You will sea kayak between the Elaphiti Islands, Croatia’s most spectacular sea kayaking archipelago. Then, you’ll raft, kayak and canoe on three exquisite rivers: Trebizat, Cetina and Zrmanja. After cycling in beautiful Krka River National Park you will hike in the world famous Plitvice Lakes National Park.

The adventure will continue by visiting the romantic city of Split and the 1700-year-old Diocletian’s palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Next stop in the journey will take you to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia’s closest neighbor country, and historical Mostar with the Balkans' most celebrated bridge where east and west meet.
